East Valley Senior Services, Inc. provides comprehensive programs and services to enhance dignity and promote independence of adults 50 years and better. The program elements include: Multipurpose Centers, Food and Nutrition Services, Outreach Services, Caregiving, In-home Support Services, Transportation, Health and Wellness, Education, Socialization, Volunteer Opportunities, Affordable Housing and Intergenerational Activities.

	Our History A Strategic Planning Task Force was formed in 2006 to formulate the future direction of the organization and one of the first orders of business was to change the organizational name. The former name of Mesa Senior Services, Inc. which was utilized for the first 27 years of operation was changed to East Valley Senior Services, Inc. effective July 1, 2006.
	EVSS Foundation East Valley Senior Services (EVSS) Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 charitable organization whose mission it is to support and promote East Valley Senior Services activities and programs.

	Our Stories / Testimonials Imagine... you are a 79-year old woman who has recently lost your husband. Your children live in other states. You are living more and more within the confines of your home, missing medical appointments, dependent on the kindness of friends for transportation... you lack the means to leave your home. Transportation would give you independence.
	Annual Report The year 2005 was marked by the completion of a very ambitious three year Strategic plan. Mesa Senior Services, Inc. showed its commitment to the process as the plan allowed the organization to change direction, with the establishment of new Administration offices, resulting in vastly improved conditions with room for growth in the future. This expansion has created a clearer organizational focal point for communities which we served. The plan contained 10 goals, 44 objectives and 82 action steps. Over 95% of the action steps were completed or ongoing which shows the strength of the planning process. These impacts from the Strategic Plan highlight the continued willingness of this organization to truly be a leader in the East Valley.
	Our Staff The current staff of over 80 dedicated and caring persons provides services through a network of senior centers and community services. In addition the organization is a partner in a senior housing complex, sponsors East Valley RSVP and provides alternative transportation services in four communities.
